Perfume Diary: Smells Like New Goods (RS)

ZELDA, En Voyage Perfumes It has been sticky and grey in New York City for what feels like a thousand years. These weeks -- the languid, soupy weeks where late July turns into early August -- are truly the most canine of dog days, when beverages sweat so heavily that you cannot set them near electronics, when houseplants turn copper and crispy baking in windowsills, when the only foods that taste right are cold cherries and half-sour pickles straight from the tub. And then it rains, and you think it’s going to provide respite, but instead it just turns your whole body into a one of those rental lake houses where everything is limp and damp. I swear my towels have not been fully dry in weeks.
